Small cookies made with four hands, with my 2 and a half year old daughter.
She loves to be busy in the kitchen around the Kitchenaid, pretending to bake, like mom (!).
I needed something simple to make and which could involve her as much as possible in the different stages of the recipe, so these shortbread cookies were a good idea.
And delicious for a snack, with a nice glass of milk...

- 140 g of flour
- 40 g sugar
- 1/2 cc of baking powder
- 80 g heavy cream
- 50 g melted butter
- 3 cc of milk
- 80 g dark chocolate pastry
- 30 g praline
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° traditional heat.
- In the bowl of the food processor, pour the flour, sugar, baking powder, heavy cream, melted butter and milk.
- Start the food processor using the dough hook, or knead by hand if you do not have a food processor, until a homogeneous ball of dough is obtained.
- Let rest in the fridge for 15 minutes.
- Roll out the dough with a rolling pin on a floured work surface, so as to obtain a rectangle.
- Cut the dark chocolate pastry into large chips, then place them on the dough with the praline.
- Roll the dough into a snail and place it in the fridge for 15 minutes.
- Cut the dough into small sections and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Bake for about 25 minutes until the shortbread is golden.

Too good ^^
Thank you both for these cute little cookies!
they are irresistible your shortbread!
beautiful and delicious shortbread!
How tempting these little cookies are!
I just have one desire, to devour them all or just one to be reasonable...but do you always have to be reasonable...?!
Kisses miss
Very beautiful shortbread!
So tempting I couldn't wait to make them!
But although very good, there was a problem with the realization and I was wondering if you could advise me!
By the time I rolled out the dough with my rolling pin, it was way too crumbly to handle properly.
So I had to improvise and make them in "cookie" format, it doesn't take away from the taste but the appearance is not what I expected!
Do you have any idea how to fix this for the second try?
Thanks in advance! And thanks for your many delicious recipes!
Hello Serena, to remedy this problem you can try to reduce the amount of flour, this will make the dough less dry to work. You can always add more along the way afterwards if the dough is too sticky. @ soon!
They look very good!
These shortbreads look just too yummy to me... :-)
Rhooo, I also fall for your pretty shortbread :)
A great recipe to taste it this fall!
Super tasty, I love it :)
See you soon !
A recipe that I will quickly try. Having all the ingredients on hand, why deprive myself of it. As soon as I have time, I will try it because it makes me want it too much. Beautiful achievement!!!
This mother-daughter recipe is so cute: I love it :)
Tested and approved ! They are absolutely divine, especially with a hazelnut cappuccino, after a day of partials :)
I guess! I'm also a fan of Cappuccino :-)
