The hazelnut....
A good alternative to cocoa?
For my part, the answer is yes!
The jar of Nutella has been catching my eye for several days, so I wanted to incorporate this hazelnut paste into a recipe for small cakes...
And bingo! I had found the perfect partner for my cappuccino this afternoon...
Here is the recipe (for around 14 financiers):
- Mix 160g of icing sugar with 50g of brown sugar and 40g of flour.
- Add 4 egg whites, previously loosened with a fork.
- Melt 100g of butter in the microwave to obtain a "mousse" texture. Then add it to the financier mixture.
- In another container, mix 100g of Nutella® with 4 egg yolks (this allows Nutella® to take a good consistency during cooking, it will not melt).
- Preheat the oven to 220 ° C.
- Prepare the financier mold (by buttering/flouring it) or take a silicone financier mold, like me, in this case, there is nothing to do!
- First pour some of the financier mixture into each mold, then garnish with a heart of the previously obtained Nutella® cream. Finally cover with a second layer of financier mixture.
- Bake at this temperature for 5 minutes.
- Once the time has elapsed, remove the mold from the oven and sprinkle each financier with praline pieces.
- Then finish cooking the financiers at 180°C for 13 minutes.
They should have a nice golden color...
Good taste to you :-)

Ultra greedy! It must be a treat!
These financiers must be to die for!!! I'm writing it down because I know some people who should really appreciate it...
I'm trying this tomorrow! Oh, it looks... divine!
too good
Huuuuummmmm, too too good ^^
These little financiers are so tempting! They are so beautiful and delicious that it is hard to resist! A great recipe!
Kisses & good day
I test this very quickly!
The toooooorture, I want one!
They tasted pretty good but once cooked you couldn't really taste the Nutella anymore. Next time I'll try with a hazelnut paste. Thanks for this recipe :)
Good evening, excuse me, I can't find praline in Tunisia, could I make it myself? If so, could you tell me how? Thanks in advance
Hello, I don't have a praline recipe but I think you can easily find it on Google. See you soon
Hello,
Why is there no almond powder in this recipe when I thought that financiers contained it? Thanks! Otherwise the recipe looks great!
Hello,
First of all, I want to tell you that this site is a real treasure trove.
On the other hand, in this recipe we use egg whites, so I never know what to do with the egg yolks. Do you have any recipe ideas?
Thank you
