Finally! I was finally able to make a gingerbread house! It's not for lack of wanting to for several years, it's more a question of timing. To tell you the truth, I got help! Since I didn't have an elf available, I called on Wilton, the American brand of baking utensils. Did you know that they sell a kit to make your house? At this time, it is out of stock on all baking e-shops of course, a victim of its success :)
The kit includes the gingerbread cookies (which smell divine) pre-cut to the right size, royal icing, a piping bag with the appropriate round nozzle, and candies for decorating.
I don't mind using the cookies provided and not making them myself: I don't plan on eating the house, it will just be a decorative element for the Christmas period. This saves me from wasting ingredients.
However, I have a complaint about the icing provided. It turns out that I didn't like its texture at all, it was difficult to work with. So I preferred to make my own, which is much easier to use. I'll give you the recipe below.
To assemble the house, we start by gluing the walls together, then placing the two roof sections, then decorating with a piping bag and placing the sweets.
A nice activity to do at home during the month of December, it will give you a little touch of festive decoration as a bonus :)

- 430 g icing sugar
- 2,5 tbsp meringue powder meringue powder
- 60 ml water
- In a container, combine the icing sugar and meringue powder.
- Add water and mix with a fork until you get a sticky texture.
- If the texture is too liquid, add icing sugar, if it is too thick, add water.
- Fill a pastry bag fitted with a very small round or fluted tip.

She's pretty like your whole house!
There is only one word to say: sublime! Kisses
It is super beautiful this little house, bravo!

It is really pretty this house.
where to find these pretty presentation dishes?
There are some on the Rosecaramelle site in particular :)
Thank you very much :)
The irregularity of the roof makes me think that this part is handmade, it must take a bit of time to do all these little stitches...But it looks good ;)
